How to File a Claim
1. Take your vehicle to a licensed repair shop.
TriStar vehicle service contracts are welcomed at virtually every repair facility in the U.S. and Canada, as well as at all TriStar dealerships with a service facility. The dealership that sold the vehicle is often the best option for your repairs. Look for ASE certified mechanics in your area.
2. Your Repair Facility submits an estimate to us.
This helps us know what is wrong with your vehicle and what items may need to be repaired or replaced. This should be done before repair work commences. If after business hours, your dealership or repair shop can call us at 614.588.0880 for assistance.
3. We review and authorize your vehicle’s repair.
Our knowledgeable claim adjusters review the estimate with the dealership to determine coverage eligibility. Once complete and approved by TriStar, the repair shop is authorized to begin work.
4. Your vehicle is repaired and TriStar pays the bill!
Once your dealership or repair facility completes the work on your vehicle, we’ll pay the repair shop directly. We make it easy to get your vehicle and get back on the road again!
